Villa Rosa Restaurant is the longtime dream of owners Frank and Rosa Rappa, who moved to the Piedmont Triad from Sicily, via New York. Since the early 1970s, they have operated the areas only authentic Italian Restaurant, Sals.

Though Sals has been a consistent success, Frank wanted a classier place that would reflect the special menu and his attention to detail. Named after his wife, Rosa, the new restaurant exhibits bright colors, romantic old-world architecture, authentic Italian paintings, and cascading water fountains.


Franks plans also called for large portions, like a typical Italian household. But, preparing these portions would keep Frank busy in the kitchen. One ingredient was neededsomeone to run the restaurant.
