The STEEL HORSE SALOON is Greensboro, North Carolina's newest and coolest biker bar AND is located right next door to a Harley Davidson Dealer AND the only bar in Greensboro with a shared outdoor full size professional stage for bands and events and motorcycle park owned by Harley-Davidson of Greensboro that will hold thousands of folks!

We have a very unique layout in that 3 of the bars 4 walls are actually large (two 8 foot and three 10 foot wide) roll-up garage doors which completely opens 3 sides of our bar to the outside giving clear, open views of the surroundings including huge Oak trees, the motorcycle park, the stage area and Harley Davidson of Greensboro. We have been featured in articles in both The Full Throttle of the Carolina's and US Biker News magazines. In the short year that we have been open we have also brought in thousands of folks to see National Superstar Acts such as Colt Ford with more National Recording Acts planned for the future.

Also because of this unique design the State of North Carolina and the Guilford County Health Department have determined that the Steel Horse Saloon DOES NOT HAVE TO COMPLY WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA SMOKING BAN when our doors are open because we are not considered enclosed at that point! That's right YOU CAN STILL SMOKE IN THE STEEL HORSE SALOON! This makes the Steel Horse Saloon the ONLYpublic or private Bar (with the excemption of a local Cigar Bar) in Greensboro and Guliford County that smoking is legally allowed in!

The owners of the Steel Horse Saloon are themselves bikers who are dedicated to the Harley Davidson and biker lifestyle. After cruising many bars and many biker events on their Harley's over the years they knew when the chance to buy what was known for a short time as The Handle Bar presented itself that it was exactly the type of bar and location that could be a real biker and bike lovers bar. Since buying it in October of 2009 the bar has become one of the hottest local spots for bikers. That is in large part due to the fact that the new owners actually ride themselves, that they respect all that come through their doors, that they believe in folks having a good time while at the Steel Horse and that they know how to give folks a great value for their hard earned money! Everybody that visits the Steel Horse always say's that it has a great "Cheers" type Bar feel but for Bikers and that they feel like family and right at home here!


Now for the REAL GOOD PART! The Steel Horse Saloon's EVERYDAY Beer prices are only $2.00 and we feature 25 different brands of beer and Several Brands of Flavored Malt Beverages. We also feature 4 Brands of Draft Beer on Tap and offer those in 2 different sizes, 14oz and 20oz cups and 60oz Pitchers (in accordance with NC ABC Laws, Pitchers require at least 2 people to purchase). Plus we offer our Famous Bottomless Beer Mug where ALL Draft Refills are only $1.00 All Day, Every Day! In addition to those already low prices during the warmer months of March 15-September 30 the Steel Horse Saloon features $1.00 Beer Wednesday when ALL Domestic Beer is only $1.00 ALL Day.
